I recently took my 95 Chrysler to Cottman Transmission (LTM Enterprise Inc) for a fluid flush and filter replacement. 4 days after the service I decided to check the fluid level (been burned by too many mechanics). I discovered that fluid would only reach the very tip of my dipstick. It was under the add point. The next day I called the shop and told them about being low on fluid and absolutly no leaking had occurred. The person said "yea, it's hard to get a good reading after you add fluid because it has to settle to the bottom". He didn't offer to put additional fluid in my vehicle.
It's a good think I checked because it took 1.5 quarts to bring it up to normal operating level.
Stay clear of Cottmans Transmission... I believe those are the one's that couldn't cut it at Jiffy Lube!
