Well where to start off!!! The 1st week of Dec 06 I went down to Mel Clayton in seach of my perfect vehicle. The sales guys talked me into purchasing a brand new car but said it had to be delivered from Utah and asked if I would sign a contract, sight unseen. I got the description for the vehicle and said sure! Well I called on Tuesday which was 3 days after I had been in the dealership and the day my car should have been delivered, and they said tomorrow. So I called on Wednesday and still no car! So Thursday I called and they said they were picking it up on Friday. Friday the sales guy called and said he had my beautiful car and he was taking it to the dealership! Then I found out that they didn't get it delivered from Utah but they got it from Earnhardt Ford in Mesa!!! And begins the story...
It is now the 3rd week in March and I am still not financed and I have signed about 7 different contracts with them!!! Everytime I call it takes about 3 weeks to get anyone to call me back. That is calling, and faxing them requests to call me a.S.A.P. I traded in a vehicle and was told by ford that they would take care of everything! Yeah right! My finace company with the old vehicle cannot ever get a hold of anyone either. Needless to say I am sitting with my 7th contract in a brand new car that I have yet to make a payment on for over 3 months, and sitting with my other finance company up my ass wanting to know where the money is from Ford to pay it off like they promised since the 1st week in Dec!!! Let's just say things do not look good for me at all!
And don't forget that while all of this is going on I am trying to keep in contact with my sales guy and come to find out, he has since quit because they were not paying him at all! Doesn't sound like Mel Clayton is doing a very good job with their employees either!!!
I don't know what to do or say about any of this. I just know that I am tired of messing around and would like to know whether or not I have the damn car or if this will go on for the next 3 months! I cannot afford to have this on my credit, that is one of the reasons I was getting a new car was to bump my credit up some, but now, who knows what is going to happen to it!!!
