I was looking for a Toyota 4Runner 4x4. When the salesman approached me he seemed friendly at first and I pretended I didn't know anything about cars. He wasn't truthful and said that 4x4's waste more gas when they're on 2 wheel drive mode, and that it was rare to find a 4x4 when 15% are only 2 wheel drives, and that I didn't need a 4x4 for driving in the snow. I told him I wasn't interested and that I was in a hurry to leave due to an emergency call.
As I approached my car he told me to open my window and told me to get out of the car and take a second look. I then told him I was in a hurry. He then brought his co-worker to talk to me and I told him I had to leave, then when I was about to back out. Three salesman blocked my car and asked me where I was going and to look once more at cars. I finally snapped and yelled at them, but they decided to be more persistant. After that I've heard many negative reports about that Keyes Toyota on Van Nuys Blvd.
