On nov. 7, I was looking for used or new parts for an old car that I am restoring. I used a search engine looking for salvage yards with my parts request as stated in my e-mail. Shortly thereafter I was contacted by EAP, LLC of Colorado. Their e-mail to me stated that they had all the parts I needed for $175.00 Their e-mail listed their address as 8571 North US Hwy. 85, Littleton CO. 800-944-3215 or 303-922-8397.
I called and gave them a credit card number and shipping address, and was promised by JEFF that the parts would be shipped via FEDEX the next day and that a tracking number would be e-mailed to me. I did not receive a tracking number so on NOV. 9 I called the 800 # and received no answer, then I tried the 303-922-8396 and a person DAVE answered. He said he would check on the status of my order and put me on hold.
Later he returned to the line and stated that one part needed to be pressure tested to assure soundness of the part and that varification of shipment and a tracking # would be sent immediately to my e-mail address.
It's now NOV 11, still no track #. Next I used the reverse look up feature found on line and checked the phone numbers. WOW, what a maze. The 800 # shows and address of 2330 South Raritan St. Castle rock co. The 303-922-8396 is a land line from Denver listed to STEVE McMICHAEL at 4500 West Mineral Drive, LITTLETON, CO. After varifing WITH MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY that my credit card was charged $175.00 on NOV 7 I called CREDIT CARD SECURITY to report the FRAUD.
On NOV 13 I called the HOTLINE FOREIGN & TRUCK PARTS It has the SAME ADDRESS as EAP. Llc. A person named DOUG answered and said he will call me back regarding the parts I needed. Their phone number is 303-791-1380 and is listed at 8571 North US Hwy 85 Louviers CO 80131. No return call was received. This DOUG person is reported to be a personal friend of MIKE REIMANN the owner of EAP, LLC who was reported to consumer complaints earlier by DENISE, ENGLEWOOD CO.
With all the different names and phones involved it's difficult to know who all is involved with the fraud. As an additional point of interest, there are THREE MOR BUSINESS NAMES at the 8571 North US Hwy 85 Louviers CO address. They are lexna's welding 303-791-3775.
