Can not get refund on wrong transmission

Asap motors sent the wrong transmission. Asap admitted it was their error and said they would send a replacment transmission as soon as they confirmed pickup of the original transmission which they sent me. Several days after the transmission was returned asap called to say that the replacement transmission would be $400 more than the original eventhought they had originally said they would ship a replacment unit. Alternately asap said i could request a refund of my original $800 which i did. It has now been 4 weeks and i have not recieved a refund despite several calls. Each time i have called i was told that i would have to speak to "managment" who were always "unavailable" or not there.

I called one last time to warn them i would be filing a fraud claim with my bank if i did not recive a refund in a timely fashion (one last chance). As of this writing i have not recieved a refund and will file a fraud claim tomorrow. I will also be filing a fraud claim with the houston district attn., consumers fraud division as well as other actions.

Based on the high number of problems reported by others, one can only conclude that asap motors conducts fraudulent business as a matter of policy. Please be warned not to do business with this company. Also look for another site launching next week.
