I went into kia car pros of Tacoma and told them I was a single mom& needed a new car, and that I had a new job and I needed a way to daycare and work. I let them know up front that I did not have any money to put down and I did not have the best credit. I had previously paid off a car from another lot and it shows paid and closed on my credit report. I was planning on using the rebate they offered as my down payment. I signed all the paper work, even got insurance on the car, and drove off the lot. A week later I get a call, and they want me to come in, so I come in straight from work. He hands me this paper and tells me he cant discuss anything else with me until I sign it. Then I am told that the bank did not approve me for the amount of the car, but I was approved for a car in the $8000-9000 range. So they took me to their other 3 used car lots, & I finally found something I liked that fit the criteria that the bank approved me for, when they did the paper work on that car, they come out and tell me that they can't do anything for me. Why would they tell me that I had to stay in the range of 8-9k? Why would you make me test drive 4 other cars for 3hours when you knew you could not do anything for me, I should have been told immediatly that they didn't have anything that fit the criteria that the bank approved me for.instead they told me I had to turn my car in now. I had just got off work, I was sick, I had my hungry child with me, and its now 7pm, and they did not even give me a chance to make arangements. They just dropped me&my daughter off like trash in front of my house and took off in the car. I was so upset I was going off in the dealer ship, It was funny how everyone was kissing my butt, but things changed towards me after they realized they couldnt help me. I felt that I was taken advantage of because I am a ethnic young woman who came into the dealership by myself, and they wasted my time. Ladies, single parents, people of ethnic backrounds, Please don't let this false advertising get you!!
