I've been bringing my jag to these guys for a couple years now for service and although their prices seem high my car always worked well afterwards. That was until now.
I brought my 1985 jag xjs to them for the wipers not working. They said it would be a couple days to a week before they could work on my car and I was fine with that. I drove the card to their shop on a Monday and left in what I thought was good hands.
After a week went by without any word I called them and they said it was in their shop and their techs where working on it. They called me back 2 days later and said that the entire body harness was bad and it would cost me 2-3 thousand dollars for them to repair it. I told them that I couldn't afford that right now and would come pick up the car.
The next day I arrived to pick up my car. I paid them the $150 for diagnostics and got my keys, got in my car and it wouldn't start, nothing was working. I went back inside and told the foreign guy behind the desk this and he told me that they had to push it out of the shop. I asked him why since the vehicle had always run and started before this. He then said that the vehicle had not run since they got it. I told them that it most certainly had. He said there was nothing he could do unless I authorized the 3 grand in repairs.
I had the car towed to a different garage and in 3 day they had it running and gave me a call. The total was $180 they had to reconnect a bunch of the body harness connectors and replace the wiper motor. They said that the connector on the body harness are the type that just doesn't come unplugged on their own and that most likely the auto doctor scammers had unplugged them. My advice to anyone considering them for their repairs is NOT TO TAKE IT TO THESE HACKS!!!
