Middletown Crank, Camden Auto, Greg Brewer
Didn't make the repairs, court order after 17 months to get car back from him

We used Middletown Crank to rebuild a motor and transmission on a 2003 Mustang. We took the car there August and (Greg Brewer) the owner of the shop advised they would start the repairs the following week and he did start the repairs.
When Greg finally got the repairs done in November he had to tow the vehicle to a shop where they had to install a programmer to reset the computer and after they did their work they called for me to come to their shop because there was a problem with the motor, on arrival they advised that Greg had installed a couple of the hoses wrong and there was a loud noise on the passenger side head.
Greg had the car towed back to his shop and didn't work on it again until late December, he advised he had forgot to take one of the oil return plugs out of the passenger side head, I asked him if he was going to replace the brand new cams I just paid for again because the car had been running with no oil getting to the cam or heads, he advised he would replace the cams but didn't.
In January he call and advised the car was ready to be picked up, on arrival we drove the car about three blocks and it began to steam anti freeze out of the passenger side head, we took it back and found that they didn't replace the gasket when they pulled the head off the second time.
In January he once again called and advised the car was ready to be picked up on a Friday, on arrival the car was ready but had a bad exhaust leak, Greg took the car to a muffler shop where we was able to pick the car up on Saturday. That Saturday we picked up the car and it ran fine until one day later when a rod started knocking after only 67 miles on the motor, (The same problem we had at the start of the repairs) It was suppose to have a brand new crank, bearings and rods.
When I called Greg Monday morning he became upset and stated there was no way a rod was knocking and advised me he would call when he was ready to look at the car again, after several weeks he finally came by and looked at the car, when I started it up him stated it was a piston skirt and he should have made me bore the motor and put new pistons in.
Greg advised he had been forced to move out of his shop so it would be a few weeks before he could start working on the car again and after another month went by he finally move to a shop in Hamilton on B Street and was only there a short time before he had move again, it wasn't until about April (Eight Months) after he started working on the car that he moved again to Camden, Ohio and had the car towed to his new shop, after a few weeks Greg finally called and stated that the rebuilt transmission had been sent back to the factory and repaired again where they found that a spacer had been left out of the gears.
Greg also advised he had the motor out of the car and found that the number five rod was knocking (The same problem we took it in for) Greg advised he would get the parts and have it ready in a couple weeks, he also advised the pistons were fine but he would out the motor for free if I would pay for new pistons, I spent another $400.00 for pistons.
Greg advised me again the car would ready around the end of June or first of July (11 months now).
Greg once again lost his shop and the vehicle was towed to his home in Middletown, Ohio.
I ended up having to sue him to get my car back, February 21 I was finally able to go and get the car back with a police escort and court order, but he still has the motor and extra parts I purchased for the car locked in his garage, the person home when the Police Department checked stated she didn't have a key the garage. Still have to go back and get the motor.
Seventeen months and over six thousand dollars and the car is in worse shape then what it was when we started.
Greg has started several different auto repair places over the years, if you find out he has anything to do with the repair work (Stay Away).
And by the way the transmission Greg state he sent out and they repaired again (was still in the car when we picked up Saturday).
