Lied about price ripoff

I went to Napa Auto parts and asked the man behind the counter if they had a brake booster and a master cylinder for a 1974 Dodge Dart, and he said they could order one. I asked him how much is it he said it was 145.79 and that's INCLUDING a core charge of 45.25. A core charge is when you bring back the old part they will give you money for it because they rebuild it to re sale. After paying the 145.79 plus taxes and bringing the old parts back I was suppossed to get 45.25 back bringing my cost down to 100.54 which is inline with every other parts store after a core charge for the same exact parts.

After I took the old parts off my car and installed the new parts I took the old parts back expecting to get my 45.25 core charge. When I go into Napa a different man behind the counter says oh you was never charged a core charge in the first place, so I look at my invoice which I know I should have looked at the day I bought the parts, but anyway it says the parts cost 193 dollars and some change.

I have bought parts from every parts store that has been in this town and every one of them always charges you the core charge when you first buy the new parts and gives you the core charge back when you bring the old ones back and different Napa stores have done that for me too. So when the first man told me the price was 145.79 including the core charge he lied because he shoiuld have said PLUS the core charge. He did not mis speak either, because it has been a long time since the last time i went into Napa and that same man worked there then too, so he knew what he was doing.

You might be thinking "just take the parts back and get a refund" well I would if it wouldn't take so long to get the parts off then go to another place and wait because they have to order it too then put the parts back on and the people at Napa knows this too.

I also have sent 2 emails to Napa customer service and they have not replied, so i don't think they really care, because I think Napa parts stores are franchizes anyway.
