This company's mechanics & owner dont know what are they talking about i took them my 90 honda accord. They diagnostic and said the ecm was bad (electronic computer module) they were trying to sell me one for $495 the owner said that is the cheapest one he could find. Bs.
I called auto-zone found it $250 w / warranty, kragen $295 also with warranty. Now he said he was 100% right it was the computer "all we have to do is change it and bamm it will start. I took it into my own hands and told them find i'll install it give me my car. Cause they were charging me $120 just to remove the computer and re-installed it. Which is underneath the passenger side beneath the rug. So easy to replace they said they have to reset it and blah blah blah.
The mechanic that rebuilt and engine on my ford t-bird said there lying to you all you do is install the new ecm and connect the battery. It resets once it is remove from the battery. Turns out i installed the ecm and nothing same problem i push to there neighbors parking lot which is another mechanic shop. Now that i guy i really recommend. He said how they lied to you like that check it and said the computer isn't the problem your distriburator has a ignition coil and it's defective. I towed it home $70 dollars more.
Call certified auto parts in hollywood. They said come get the part $40 with 3 months warranty came home install it and bamm!!! Car turn on. What a lying shitty mehcanics i regret taking it there total they charge was a waste of money, thanks to their neighbor he told what exactly was the problem.
Never go to marina car clinic trust me their employees think they now it all, they aren't ase certified nothing. Just a shi*y mechanic shop
