I went to cleo bay to look for a minivan. I found a 2003 Windstar. I was told the price was $13,800. I got home and looked the cleo bay web site and found the same van with a much lower listing of 9,999. I printed the page showing the stock no. That matched the van and the price of 9,999.
I took the page to my salesman and the finance manager. I was then told that this was not from their site. It was a link from a different site that could have inaccurate info. Or not updated info.
At that time after sitting in the lobby for 15 minutes while 2 salesmen and the finance manager met in the office and were also seen using the computer, I was then called into his office to be shown the official website which was one in the same and showed a then different price listed of 11,800 which I was informed I could purchase at that price.
At this point I was a little reluctant to purchase so I informed them I needed to think about it. I went home got back on the computer pulled up several of their vehicles from the same site shown in the office and printed them. As before the same bottom address appeared.
I was angry that I had been lied to and that they had gone in and changed the price. I contacted both the salesman and the finance manager to let them know I did not appreciate being lied to and I would take my business elsewhere to a company that does good business not shady business.
