When we used your services before, we were very impressed. You had our car fixed quickly, and we felt you were an honest person and knew we would use you again. However, you seemed to have done a 180 degree turn around this last time. While I can understand sometimes parts may be more than you think they might be when a price is quoted, a simple phone call would had been nice. I was shocked to find you charged twice as much as the quoted price to replace an oil pan. Also, when you called to tell me the motor mount needed replacing, you told me it would only be one hour labor since it was easy to get to from the point where you were with the car. I understood that to be a charge of $20 labor for one hour. When we got the bill, the charge was for $40.
Disappointment does not begin to express my feelings about the services you provided, your integrety or honesty this last time. The car you worked on probably isn't worth a total of $700, so to get a bill near that was shocking, to say the least.
A simple phone call telling us the charge would be more than quoted would had been appreciated, and given us the opportunity to decline the services. Needless to say, we will not be using you again, nor will we continue to recommend you to our friends.
