I used my 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 as a trade in for a 05 SRT4, I was told multiple times that the deal they gave me would be fine, and that there would be no problems getting if for me.
I ask over and over again if there is going to be a problem, and they said no. So I leave with the new car and go about my ways for almost a month, then I get a call from the finance company that financed me on the truck, they asked why I hadnt payed the truck payment yet (I have never been late on a payment), I said "I had traded the truck in over 3 weeks ago, and that it should have been paid off by now.
They said they havnt heard anything and that I had to pay the bill before the account goes 30 days late, So I did, and then called the dealership to ask "what is going on". They said they couldnt find a bank to finance me, and then they said that they had one that did, but at a rediculouse rate, So I said no, and of course I asked "why hasnt anybody notified me of this" and they just shrugged it off, they said they would continue working on it and try to get the deal, so I called the fallowing friday, around 11am and asked if they came up with anything, they said yes, then he goes on to offer me the same rediculous deal, but this time asks for 100.00 more, so I siad no, and that i will be bringing the car back after work, he (the finance guy) says OK.
So I get to the dealership at about 7:30 PM, and return the car, I sign all of the paperwork to role me out of the deal, then the finance guy says "wait here and ill get your truck ready", So I wait for about 10 to 15 minutes, and go outside, when one of the sales guys go's and brings up a loner car, I asked "were is my truck", he said "its at the detail shop getting checked out, and that they cant get it back till Monday" of course I blew a gasket, and told him I want my truck now. So he goes into there sales office, and comes back out to tell me that its not at the detail shop, but its at an auction, now im fumed, why is my truck at an auction, when there was never a closed car deal..? And they cant get it back till monday afternoon, so now i am vehicless, till monday...
