My girlfriend whom I live with took me to reliable chevrolet to find a new truck. She had purchased a new 2003 Tahoe from them at 0% financing and the dealership was just down the road from our work.
We picked a truck with our salesman (mark West) and four days later were finally in the dealership trying to finish up paperwork. The truck (wrong color, wrong package) i was tring to be nice. Just wanted to complete the deal and get out.
(mark West) Came into the office and told us the interest rate was 9.9%. This was one of the big deciding factors in the transaction. We told them this. We already had 7% from a local bank. Then he brings the manager in and he tells us he's got us at 12.5% interest.
We were mad just lied to, we got up to walk out with the salesman chasing us through the parkinglot. 20 minutes later receive a Phone call from Mike Durony Telling us they had messed up and could get 3.9%
We bought a truck and Friday In Mckinney at El Dorado the next day. Great experience with Tom Hoctor. Picked a truck got what we wanted and left with the truck in 3 hours.
Almost couldn't get financeing at Mckinney because Reliable had shotgunned our credit to at least 10 lenders over the course of three days.
Very negative impact and credit scores when this happens.
Its Saturday and just Received a call from Mike Durony of Reliable Chevrolet Still trying to swindle us back to His dealership. Today is 10-22-05
There were numerous other problems we had with Reliable could go on for days.
My advise and the advise of others i have spoke with: STAY AWAY FROM RELIABLE.
