Back on 8/23/05, I ordered a 3.2l engine for a 2000 Dodge Intrepid from Scott B at S&J. Price was for a COMPLETE engine with 31,000 miles. It was $1353.
I was told also that the engine was in stock and would be to me in 3-5 days. 3 Weeks later I recieved the engine. It was not complete, and had a tag on top that showed 71,000 miles on it. I immediately called them and refused delivery. The engine was returned.
I have since fought with these people for a refund, talking to Scott B, Christine, and Joyce. I have not yet received my $1353.
They also told me that I could not get a refund because they had sent me more parts, 5 total, to make the engine complete. I received 2 of them, and they could not provide me with tracking numbers for the rest.
For 2 more weeks, I fought with Christine about this, and she promised me she would check with her vendors, and see where the other 3 parts were.
It is now 10/14,6 weeks later, I have no refund, have called many, many times, have left many, many messages and have not gotten a response.
This place BY FAR has the WORST customer service I have ever seen. DO NOT deal with this company— look at their other usacomplaints.com and check them out on BBB.com. They almost have 300 complaints against them.
I am very frustrated and am tired of trying to deal with them. The fraud investigations division of the Saratoga Springs Police has been contacted, as well as a lawyer and soon the New York Attorney Generals office.
PS This also cost me 60/hr for 2 1/2 weeks 8 hours a day to have a bay in my shop tied up with an immovable car. I had to buy another engine to get the car done, so technically, I am out $2700!!!
