To Whom it may concern:
I will try to make this as short as I can, these problems having been going on forf almost 4 years.
1. GMAC continuiously charged me for insurance when I had full coveralge the whole time they were ching me. This went on with monthly charges for 11/2 to 2 years. I faxed over all my insurance documents to GMAC and they refused to credit me for all the charges of insurance and advised me they denied my proof of insurance.
2. I call GMAC customer service and adviced them I wanted to pay 1 year in advance in payments (I adid this 2 other occations of payments in advance also) Customer service gave me to the penny how much the payments would come out to. I payed this in full. Every single month since then GMAC applied parcial payments the day after the due date to my account. For over a year they charged me late charges. Again I called customer service they advised me they applied the money to the tail lend of the loan? This is not what I had discussed when I made arrangement for advance payments. So I got hit with money due every month and also late charges every month, even though they had the money. One time they tried to repo the car. When I called GMAC credit dept the manager was very rude and would not even allow me to explain the credit legally was due to me for the insurance overcharges. I could not even talk to her she kept yelling at me, VERY unproffesional. (I do have her name on file) I felt there was discrimination against me the way she approached me. Why? I am not sure. Maybe because I am a single female.
3. I contacted a rep from gmac who came to my house and was also confused on all the late charges and amount's due, there were several months I would recieve 3 to 4 statements with all different amounts due for the same month. The rep could not help me. I showed him my total paid to gmac and I should aready have paid off the car in 2004. I still had $11,000.00 due on my account.
I again called customer servicethey advised me this loan was not set at a percentage rate it wouold go up at any time. This does not show any inform tion reguarding this on my original contract.
4. According to gmac I was late $85.00 the month of July, august I paid the payment with late charges again and had it sent western union due to I know they will come and try to repo my car. That same day after they recieved the apyment they reposessed my car.
5. My credit report has destroyed me, GMAC reported I was late every single month since I bought the car (totally untrue!) I was in the middle of refinacing my home and GMAC put the repo on my report within 10 days and destroyed my refinance and me!!!
