A sale sign below the purses at the store said Sale 70% off. The same sign showed a chart with Reg. Price on the left column and Sale price on the right column. I chose the purse I liked. It was marked $12. The chart showed a $12 purse sale price to be $3.50. I bought and paid for it along with about $20 in other merchandise. Later when I looked at my receipt I realized I'd been charged to full $12 price. I called the store. The responses I got were: "Only the purses above the sign are on sale;" "Somebody moved the sign" (after I said the purses were all above the sign, which was on the bottom shelf); "Only the color-coded purses were on sale;" "Only select purses were on sale;" "Walmart does that, " "Bring the purse back and we'll 'negotiate' a price with you, " When I insisted on an answer yes or no if they intended to honor the sale price, the manager just kept talking "over" by rattling on about clerks, customers, other businesses, etc., anything to distract from answering directly. Finally I told him I'd take my complaint elsewhere. I've shopped there for a long time but now I'll take my business elsewhere.
