AAMCO Transmissions ripoff on 12 month or 12000 mile warranty

My Transmission has gone out three times. AAMCO Transmissions in San Antonio on Rigsby Road has "fixed" it.

The second time it was in the shop they re-built it and charged 1,598.22 to my former warranty company Eagle Warranty. Both times it was in the shop it took them more than three weeks to return it to me. The Owner Charles Clay kept telling me it was the warranty's fault.
The last time it was in the shop the owner gave me a 12 month or 12000 mile warranty. Two weeks ago I was on my way to the Rio Grande Valley with my three year old son and the same problem occurred with my transmission. I stopped at a convince store and A man approched me and said he was on his way to the beach but was a mechanic and wanted to make sure every thing was alright.

I explained to him that the same exact thing had happend three times now and that AAMCO had fixed it. He looked under my hood which was smoking at the time. He advised me to take pictures and seek an attorney immediatly because it had been "rigged". He said the hoses that go from my radiator had been tied off to the side and a coolant system that is used for extra cooling when pulling a tractor trailer or RV was put in.

I drove my car the rest of the way stopping every hour to let it cool down until I got to my family's ranch.
On Sunday I towed the car back to San Antonio and on Monday morning I contacted the owner to describe what had happend. He said he would tow the car to his shop and have me on the road in a couple of days. I had been in contact with him every other day since then.

I called him last Thursday Aug. 4 to again check the status of my car. He said he was not going to fix my car because the parts he put in were not the parts in the transmission and the speedometer gear had been removed. I have never taken my car anywhere else. He's the only one who's ever worked on my car.

He's had my car for over 2 weeks and I don't understand why it's taken him until now to say the parts in the car or transmission are not the parts he put in. I contacted the international consumer relations department about the matter and the lady I spoke with Sonny Brown said that he is the Texas contact for AAMCO and it was very unlikely that he would be in the wrong. She also stated that he marked all of his parts.

He told me that when he took the parts to exchange them they told him they did not match up. If he indeed marks all of his parts why would he take them to get exchanged knowing that his "mark" was not on them. And why did it take him two whole weeks to do it.

I really don't understand why he didn't fix my car right the first time.

I need my car to get to work and I just enrolled in college. I'm a single 22 year old mom of a 3 year old son and I'm also Co-Chair of the Kenall County Relay for Life for the American Cancer Society and I'm on the committee for the Kenall County Fair Association. I work a full and part time job. I don't know what to do. I need my car.

I fell like Charles Clay of AAMCO has taken advantage of me. I am willing to take a lie detector test and do whatever is necessary to prove that no one else has ever worked or repaired my vehicle but him. If you could help me please contact me.
