I purchased a Kia Rio Cinco almost 2 years ago for 13,000 minus 1,000 rebate with a trade of a tracker. They were suppossed to pay off in full. After the paper work was not ready to go that day they told me to go ahead and drive away in my new car.
I did and for 4 days I ended up driving back and forth with them saying they needed this and that. I was already in distress after they kept saying you have to, you're driving our car.
I looked at the contract and payments were 365.00 a month. With me thinking the car will be paid off pretty quickly I looked at the paperwork and saw 18,000 some odd dollars and assumed this was with my finance charges. Here I looked at the wrong number and did not find this out until I took out my paperwork almost 2 years later they charged me 18,000 for a 13,000 car.
I have the original sticker and everything with the price of the car on it. The reason I took the paperwork out was to trade my car in on a new Kia at the same place I bought the first. I was told I'm sorry but you got screwed; I didn't do it to you.
So I owe 14,000 on a car that is worth 5,000 if that and all in all I'm paying 28,000 for a car that should have cost 12,000.00 Talk about being ripped off I feel humiliated
