This company came to tow my vehicle after aaa contact them. After looking at it for 2 seconds they stated it would be a 200.00 flat fee just for looking at it
(refused to tow it) and driving 15 miles to it!
American Towing told my aaa auto club they only charge 2.00$ a mile-that what cental pa aaa told me before they came. What is soo suspect too is the truck they were using-it looked like it had never had a car on it ever! I asked the driver he said he had been driving it for a few years with this company. I looked up the company today only in business less than 6 months.
I became angry (who wouldnt) called the police they said it was a civil matter for court. These guys really seemed to work me over-they blocked car so I couldnt leave until they got cash (who carries that kind of cash?) and I heard AMERICAN Towing has gotten away with stealing cars they were suposed to tow to Lancaster Pa from a few other Spanish women like myself who unlike me were really afraid of these MAFIA like tow guys. One said she just let them keep her car! I felt these guys were real bullies who would try to get away with whatever they can! Anybody else who had this happen or can tell me what to do to get my money back? Also I still need my vehicle towed!!!
