I purchased a carbon fiber hood for $412 $150 shipping ($562 total) from jtrsport via ebay, and was sent a damaged hood. I was told to take pictures of the damage, and I would get a refund from the shipping company, DHL.
After a few weeks of jtrsport not answering the phone, or responding to my emails, I tried calling DHL, only to find out that jtrsport had never communicated with them, and that the refund would not actually come from DHL at all.
When I tried to call the shop, I kept getting put on indefinite hold, and would eventually have to hang up the phone.
I have since tried to use dispute services, such as paypal, and square trade to resolve this matter. I left them a negative feedback on ebay, and they offered me a $100 bribe to remove it. When I didn't they left me a completely untrue negative feedback.
I still have not received any money at all, and I have since spent about $120 to ship the broken hood back to them ($682 total). The paypal dispute resolution center states that I will get a refund, when jtrsport gets the damaged hood back, but they can not guarantee a full refund, and I will certainly not get my $120 in shipping charges back.
