On Aug. 30 I purchased 2003 Ford Taurus from Bob Allen Ford in Overland Park, Kansas. I was sold an extended warranty for $795.00, to run 48 months or 75,000 miles.
On April 11th my engine light came on. I took the car to a Ford agency and they replaced a valve in the fuel line vent for $121.97, my deductible was $50 so I gave the cashier my policy.
She called the 800 number and another company answered. So she called Bob Allen Ford and they told her the company with the insurance had went out of business and taken bankruptcy.
I'm out $795.00 for the Ins. So what is a person suppose to do, and I finance the cost of Ins. So I'm paying interest on that.
