I too went to advantage suzuki, i had been re establishign my credit. I gave an over the phone application and that night the sales person brought a car to my home for me to look at took my check stubs and rent verification and said we've got you approved what time tomorrow can you come in to sign papers.
I was set to go in teh next day at 11. At 8 am the next morning i got a call saying there was a problem with my credit.
Later that day i got an explanation of too high debt to ratio so i added my husbands income. The nextt excuse was no re established credit since bankruptcy. I proved to them that i had.
I still for 3 days was dragged thru excuse after excuse the sales manager said i just needed to go elsewhere. For a week after that the sale guy (creepy) kept stalking me with phone calls about how sorry he was nad letters and following me places until my husband told him he would have his job.
That same week i got a new car at a great apr with kia. One month later advantage called saying this is john doe wanting to see if you still need a car! Can you believe the nerve!
