My truck had to be towed to your shop on a Sunday night, 12/15. I stopped by the next morning to question what repair it need and requested that a mullti point inspection be done as well as an oil and filter service be performed. The reason that it was towed was because the serptine belt had broken.
The belt, tension idler, pulley and serptine belt was repaired.
I can only assume that the lube service as well as the inspection was done.
I received a call that it was ready to be picked up. Got there just before closing and was told that it had coolant leaks and radiator water pump. No work done at this time. Cost $595.34
not that i should leave it to have more work done on it. JUST KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR LEAKS.
As my wife drove home, she pulled over when she noticed that the temperature gauge would climb to almost overheat then fall to normal. I told her that it was probable the thermostat and that we would take it to Longmont Ford the next day.
Diagnoses was that the radiator was half low, water pump and timing cover leaking. This was another $1035.62.
We were very fortunate that we did not ruin the engine.
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND INTERSTATE FORD TO MY WORST ENEMY!!!
Also, we called the towing company and told them that they should tow to Longmont Ford if at all possible.
