I lease a 2011 Ford fusion that has a defective transmission. Anytime the car sits for 48 hours or more, or if it is very cold outside, when you first start driving the transmission will slip very badly and rev. The car will eventually jerk back into gear, almost like it was in neutral. It seems to be a very widespread problem, as I know a neighbor that has similar issues. With a 2012 fusion. This is a very dangerous problem. Very frustrated. Please do research before buying a Ford vehicle.
