Ford Motor car leasing pollcy - Ford Fusion

Have owned about twelve Ford-Mercurys over the years - the first being a1949 Coupe I purchased while I was working my way through Engineering School. My experience with the Ford cars has always been very positive,
In I intended to replace a 2006 Fusion with a 2011 model in September, but my daughter a visiting nurse, car gave out in May and so we transferred our 2006 Fusion to her. I replaced our car with a leased 2010 Fusion.
This was the first time that we purchased a new car with lease (a big mistake). We made a single payment of about $9600 on a 24 month lease for a monthly equivalent of $400. Our complaint is this, our lease runs out on May 17 but the new Fusions are not in the showrooms until October or November. We have asked for an extension of our lease for six more months but not at the $400 rate since the current rate the dealers are charging is around $200 a month. The dealer and Ford Credit refuse to lower the rate even though we plan to buy a 2013 fusion and have kept the leased car in new condition and have driven only 9300 miles.
Based on Ford%u2019s local response to our request, we assume that Ford does not need the business so we are afraid that Ford and will not take any action and we will be driving a competitor%u2019s product.in a few days.
