Ripoff discriminate against the disabled, hire for one job then put you on anothe

I was hired to repair stone chips on cars/trucks, and detail cars when paint shop was slow.

When hired the company was made aware of my disability which is arthritis, I am able to do most work and the job description that was given to me was work I could handle.

After there one week I was told to go out on the lot (in the elements) and do tires on approximately 30 vehicles;which I did. When I finished I returned back to the shop to see what work was there for me to do, at that time I was told to go and put "body shine" on those same vehicles. Body Shine is a type of wax which is commonly used in detailing on CLEAN cars not cars that have been sitting.

At this time I was not happy because I felt that this was not in the job description I was given when hired, and I was having great physical difficulty walking so far... See my Arthritis is in my knees, hips, back and ankles (they knew this) this is more of a Lot Attendant's job not a painter!!!

I did the best I could but ended up leaving half of the day due to pain, which was making me sick to my stomach.

The next day I showed up for work and was put outside to do the same as the day before, I didn't complain instead I went to work thinking "Hey it could be worse, it could be raining".

As the day progressed I was becoming very tired at around 2 P.M. I asked if I could sit for a few mins. Just to catch my breath. Well I sat for maybe 7 mins. Then went back to work.

At around 3:30 my manager came outside to get me to tell me the manager above him wanted to talk to me (my quit time is 4P.M.) he then proceeded to inform me that they were letting me go, they felt the work was too demanding for me with my Arthritic condition. Of course it was it wasn't the job I accepted when hired... Then to be fired for being disabled was just another slap in the face. They were so generous as to tell me I could finish out the day if I wanted, why would I?

So I more or less got fired for being disabled, and not being able to perform to their satisfaction because of my disability on a job I was mislead about. I was hired as a painter not lot attendant!
