On December 12th I entered the Steak & Shake restaurant at 7:00pm
and was promptly seated waiting for a waitress to take our order, the waitress never returned to our table to take our order, the restaurant had appoximately fifteen people seated and eating.
After waiting 22 minutes for the waitress that never came to our table, I went up to the front counter and asked for the manager, the manager was a short woman working the drive through window. The manager came to the counter where I was standing and I asked the female manager if the restaurant was busy? She looked around and said to me no we are not busy, I informed the female manager that I was sitting in a booth for 22 minutes waiting to get my order taken, she simply smiled at me and walked away from me and offered no apology or a chance to make things right.
I have spent a great deal of money in that restaurant and will never set foot inside that place again.
Seems to me that an employee other than the manager should be running the drive through window and the manager should be out on the floor making sure everyone is being taken care of and asking if your food or order is to your satisfaction.
