Avoid Eating at Newport Creamery. Made request at breakfast for egg whites only, due to health requirements. Waitress and Chef, and I use the word "chef" lightly refused to provide anything other than Eggbeaters.
When we explained that we absolutely did not want Eggbeaters, the waitress said they would only give us fried eggs over hard and we should "cut the yolk out ourselves". I again explained that we simply wanted the eggs cracked and the yolk discarded before pouring the white on the griddle to fry the eggs. The waitress came back to the table and stated "the chef is giving you Eggbeaters"
To add insult to injury, we were then charged the upcharge for Eggbeaters.in addition, the bacon was tasteless and very greasy. Go instead to the IHOP nearby. Customer service is a is a Dirty Word at the Newport Creamery. Never in all my travels have I had a restaurant so ridiculously refuse to accommodate a simple request. Address of this " restaurant" is 208 W Main Rd Middletown RI
