My husband and I went to the new IHOP in La Plata Maryland for breakfast. We joked about going there because of our bad experience at another IHOP a few months ago. At that IHOP we ordered our eggs over hard but got eggs that look almost raw. It was a bad experience. So this time we repeated it twice that we "both" wanted our eggs over hard. Our waiter who had a beard and pony tail served our coffee first but after drinking a few sips noticed hair in my cup. The same color hair as the waiter. When our breakfast arrived 20 mintues later my husbands eggs looking like they tried to cook them under a heat light and not the grill - - they were very runny and not well done at all. He also received wheat toast and not the english muffins he ordered. The waiter said have no fear I'll take it back and get the eggs done right. Ten mintues later — you got it more raw eggs. We asked to speak with the manager who acted like she could care less about our complaint. She agreed not to charge my husband for the breakfast he never ate. I got charged for my breakfast and $3.95 for two cups of coffee with hair and all. We now learned that IHOP Inc has no say of local IHOPS and thats why they don't even have comment cards at this place. Our advice - - stay away.
