I miss breakfast sometimes because I always seem to be in a rush. So I like to stop by DD and get my fix with a breakfast sandwich and Colatta (beverage of choice for many Floridians). I like the atmosphere and the interior designs of DD resturaunts and feel fine getting ou5 of my car to pop in and not feel ashamed to be present in an otherwise pleasant fast food establishment (can't say the same for Micky D's or BK, both of which I cannot stand due to the greasy and dirty atmosphere). I'm a pretty calm and reserved guy, not afraid of confrontations and always smile and treat the servers with respect, but I can never seem to get a breakfast sandwich to be hot enough to be palatable. Seriously - they are at borderline room temperature by the time I get them. This is my experience over several visits over several locations this year alone and I finally feel compelled to voice my concerns. Are the ovens not running hot enough to cook these sandwiches? I can understand how many of the ingredients (egg, cheese) are pre-processed for obvious reasons in the fast food/I want it now/instant gratification industry, but these factors start to deter from my breakfast experience when all I can think about is the lukewarm flavoring of the ingredients due to it not being hot enough. Getting it "extra toasted" is not the sane thing - they need to be hotter! Like their coffee!!! I hope somebody reads this and realizes the same thing...
