Do not waste your time or money - even if on groupon!
I really wanted to like this place, but my server had other ideas.
It's Sunday at 4:35 pm when we (party of 4) are seated and there is only one other occupied table in our room. Very spartan menu. 4:45pm first meet surly waitress when she brings water and says she will be back in a few minutes... Doesn't ask what we want to drink... No bread yet. 4:55pm comes back takes drink order of 4 diet cokes... Asks if we would like bread and says it is in oven. 5 more minutes and we get our diet cokes! 10 minutes later we get bread and she takes our order of (2) Penne w bolognese with 2 meatballs, ravioli of the day and an eggplant dish. That's right - over half an hour to take order! Here's the kicker - WE DIDN'T get our food until almost 6pm! Bread had been gone for half an hour, no refill on coke and no apology or explanation! It gets WORSE: The Ravioli entree wouldn't fill up Kate Moss. (Eggplant & Penne dishes were of ample size.) Finally, we were using a $55 Groupon of 4 entrees (up to $19 per), 4 glasses of wine ($6 per) and 2 deserts ($5 per.) So up to a $120 value. The bill comes up to $91.00 (inc tax) and we only get credited $73 because they had to charge us for the meatballs! My worst restaurant groupon experience ever and the only time I ever felt compelled to write a negative review. If I can just save one person from making my mistake...
Terrible Service, Shady Groupon deal. Average Food.
