Here's my batting average with buying and redeeming groupons:
1 - mexican restaurant $40 groupon - OK no problem redeeming
2 - facial groupon $75 groupon - after purchase - no details in the fine print given before the purchase - found out the service was only available on Tuesday afternoons - so take a day off to use my groupon? Sorry
3 - another facial groupon $60 - unable to book service as aesthetician has "ear problems and we don't know when she'll be back"
4 - natural grass fed beef $35 groupon - made the original order in July - still waiting for delivery. Company just said this week "for sure"
So bottom line - 25% success rate or 19% of total groupon value purchase was able to redeem without problems.
Verdict - don't waste your time and money trying to save money this way.
