I purchased a Groupon for Dinner & drinks for four: 2 appetizers, four entrees and four glasses of house wine, draft beers, or cocktails for $85.00 that would cover $198.00 bill. I proceeded to make a reservation. When we sat down at the table and the waiter approached us, I stated to him that we had a Groupon for four people. We ordered one appetizer of shrimp for $17.00 (only three shrimp).in additon we ordered 2 Ceasare salads, (which we were willing to pay extra for). Our four entrees did not exceed the $29.00 value listed on the Groupon. We also had 1 cocktail and 1 glass of red wine suggested by the waiter. We were presented with a bill $228.00 and was told they would not except our Groupon becuase were were only allowed to order certain items on the menu. We had to pay the entire bill, which was a misrepresentation of value of the Groupon. Be careful of this eating establishment. They do not honor what they are promoting on Groupon. I have pruchased many Groupons and never had this problem. BEWARE of Park Travern on Atlantic Ave in downtown Delray Beach, FL. Not only did they lose a customer, but this is one place I would never recommend. Had they honored the Groupon as advertisied we would have become steady customers.
