On March 7 at 8:00pm I went inside to Popeye 's Chicken. The place was unkept even though they had 4 employees one hour before closing. I startd to leave but thought to give them the benefit of the doubt. I looked over the menu and pictures on the board. I ordered the Jambalaya. Went I returned home they had given me a chicken submarine sandwhich??? I called the store. They told me they did not sell the item. They said the register rings up as Jambalaya. I asked to speak to the manager. I asked for a refund and they told me to drive the sandwhich back to the store (now closing in 5 minutes). They said to receive a refund I would need to save the sandwhich and bring it in even after they admitted they gave me a substitute withuout my approval. I asked for the managers name and corporate number twice. I still have no clue what she rattled off so I am resorting to the internet. Did I mention the place was dirty. I agreed to take 3 pieces of breast pieces since they were waiting on dark meat chicken and because I felt sorry for them having approx 30-35 breast sitting out 1 hour before closing. Like they say nice guys finish last. I just bought a house in the area and am dissapointed I wont be back.
