Citi Corporation Acceptance of Fraud and Forgery on FHA mortgage

I was defrauded into co-borrowing a mortgage with fraudulent claims and saw the forger sign the documents with another person's name. For almost 3 years I have been calling CitiMortgage's customer service dept. And tried to tell them about this fraud and forgery but nobody there wanted to tell me anything or do anything about it.

The forger is the son of the woman who was the alleged primary borrower. Because this was an FHA loan it required that she or I live in the residence. I agreed to co-signing the loan on the condition that the primary borrower be brought home from the nursing home and taken care of at home and that within 6 months, the son, with a recorded power of attorney from his mother, would supercede me as co-borrower. This was agreed to. The primary mortgagee never left the nursing home and died there in April of this year almost 3 years after the loan was approved.

I again called CitiMortgage and was told they needed a copy of her birth certificate, which I purchased and sent to them requesting them to take back the property and remove my name from the mortgage. Furthermore I requested that a case of fraud and forgery be opened and that I have all the written evidence needed to prove these claims and my supposition and the fact that a fraud had also been purpetrated upon me was upheld by both the local county Sheriff's office and the city Police Department. I also placed an online claim with the FBI and HUD and received no response.

I have called CitiMortgage's fraud department a total of 5 times and left my name and number and the mortgage number and the number I was told to give by their customer service department, but none of my calls were returned. Two weeks ago when I called customer service, I was told to expect a letter from their fraud department by November 25th. Nothing has been received. I called yesterday, 11/28 and was told by customer service that I would receive a call from their fraud department within 24 hours. That hasn't happened either. I cannot get any kind of response from CitiMortgage addressing this issue of fraud and forgery against them, myself, the U.S. Government and the only information Customer service tells me is fraud is investigating this as identity theft. It is not identity theft. It is fraud and forgery pursuant to law enforcement. The forger is living in the home and always has and although he is paying the mortgage, he has no legal responsibility for the mortgage and even specifically neglected to notify CitiMortgage or I that his mother passed away six months ago and never moved into the property. Her cause of death was "failure to thrive" and "Dementia caused by Alzheimers Disease". Her son also forged a quit claim deed granting him her right and title to the property 3 months prior to her death.

Law enforcement officials state there was no power of attorney filed with the courts for her son to sign for her and he had told me he had a power of attorney to do so. Had I known it was not true I would never have agreed to co-sign for the loan.

CitiMortgage has been notified countless of times by me of what was happening and what a crook her son, a convicted felon currently on probation, is and that he is not to be believed.

I want this case investigated thoroughly, my name taken off the mortgage and off my credit, a letter sent to the three credit agencies attesting to the fact that this debt is no longer part of my credit record and should be removed immediately, the property turned back to CitiMortgage to to whatever they like with it, and the perpertrator of this fraud and forgery punished according to the laws of the State of Arizona and the United States of America.
