Received a letter today from TD Bank instructing me that they will be changing my student checking account to a "Convenience" checking account and attaching several fees as a result of me being over the age of 24. They will no longer offer student checking to students over 24 years old. I am a student, however well over the age of 24, and pay my own tuition!!! How can they say the person sitting next to me in class is more qualified for a student checking account merely because of their age? That is discrimination in its purest form!!! Shame on you, TD Bank...
