Fry's lost my power cord! - Lenovo Laptop

Fry's lost my frickin' power cord.

I've dealt with fry's for years without mishaps worth mentioning, until now. And now? I still cannot hardly believe it: Fry's. Lost. My. Power. Cord.

(It was a recently replaced cord, replaced by fry's earlier this year while still under warranty. I have complaints about service then but nothing like now!)

Inside of 24 hours, no less. I rather believe the cord disappeared when I told the techie who called me that I'd be taking my laptop to the Neighborhood Nerd in Sacramento.

The manager finally offered to help, once we found him, by saying he'd re-imburse us (why not order a new one?) - but he is not answering calls or emails nor can we find him at the store these days. We have yet to get our money back.

One more note of interest to anyone thinking of going to Fry's; when they lose your power cord, they will ask you to sign something saying you never brought it in - despite their policy of not taking a laptop without a power cord! It's insult to injury with Fry's...
