I have recently taken over payments on my mother-in-laws house. I have made on time monthly payments for 6 months. Somehow, however, Ocwen claims I am 2 months behind. I have front and back copies of every single check I have sent to them - I have faxed this information to them 4 times. But it';s been no use... I cannot get them to update the account.
Meanwhile, they send threatning letters to my mother on law and make threatening phone calls claiming she is behind in the payments. With proof in hand, I still cannot get them to fix this account.
I decided to contact lawers and do some reserarch on this company, and I am sure glad I am not the only one who is having trouble with this company. I have connections with the district attorney in my city who is in charge of the task force on real estate elderly abuse - my mother on law is over 70. I would like to email with anyone who has had trouble with this company AND is elderly -let's get tis company - they are horrible.
