I owed $350 for an American Eagle store credit card. I had some financial trouble as a result of a tornado destroying my home and losing my job. So Arrow Financial Services took over this account.
A Mr. Sean Lee has been handling my account. He calls all hours of the day every single day and is always very rude to anyone who answer, asking family members personal info. Now my balance is up to 489.94 because of interest. I've explained that I am not working and have 3 year old twins and rent and car payments. Which, is typical for most people so I don't expect special treatment, but I need a affordable payment plan. He wants me to pay in full or two payments and I told him we are going to have to work out something that I can afford. I told him I could pay $20 a month, which I know sounds small, but I am making an honest attempt. His reply is - don't you want to pay it off? Well, duh. I would love to, but it's not that easy. I can with my tax refund, this Spring.
He is always completely unprofessional and by the way he speaks to me I started to wonder if this was a real agency, that people are allowed to be that nasty. So I asked for something in writing before I send a payment. He states that is against company policy. According to Sean Lee their policy states that one statement is sent out and then it is my responsiblity to take it from there. Fine, but I never received the first bill. Mr. Lee tells me I did, and I probably lost it. No.
I agree to send out $30, but of course it HAS to be sent by money gram. So I do that and call him as agreed as soon as the transaction is complete. I thought okay done for this month. Nope got a letter end of the month saying I agreed to have 30.00 in the office and it was never received.

I'm confused. I call Mr. Lee and he of course is rude and almost brings me to tears questioning my parenting skills and what is my problem not working. I hung up on him. And called back and asked to speak to his supervisor. I asked to have someone else handle my account, because I am not going to be treated like crap over a measley $489. Of course she acted sympathetic and yet again Mr. Lee called a few days later. I so glad that I am not the only one who has been treated badly by AFS. I hope that I can get this resolved quickly and never hear from AFS again. Espescially Sean Lee.
