Drive Financial
Rude, Unprofessional, Unwilling to act properly. Ripoff!

Well, I just found this site. I must say, I agree with the "Richard" person in the aspect that I would never have had time to look up the financial institution when I was signing on the "dotted line".

That being said, I wish there was something to legally do with this company. I have never missed a payment. It was tough at first because they would not send me bills past the first 1 or 2. I am not real organized, so I stressed for a couple days trying to FIND the old bill. I did, and again, my payments were all sent well before the 12th or 14th, when they were due.

I began asking for them to mail me a bill around May. I sent letters with my payments asking. That did not work. I sent more "forceful" requests, yet still polite.

Then I started calling each month. I was told that sending out a bill was a "courtesy" and they "are not required to send them." I was then told "Because you send them in each month, early, it cancels the bill."

I asked, can you send me some sort of statement? I like to keep more than just a figure in my head as I had no earthly idea what I owed or how much I had payed or when the last payment had posted, etc? I had nothing substantial. Calling in and asking a person on the phone is not "proof" in any legal sense as it is a he-said-she-said thing.

They told me I should just call, so I asked if they had a record of the last 4 times I called asking for a bill, they said no. I asked, "If you have no record of me calling and asking for a bill, what makes you think I can ask you about my account and turn around and say "he/she told me blah blah blah?"

Again, I called 3 times today. The last 2 were very nice, but that remains to be seen if they do not send me SOME sort of account update as I asked.

The first person was a guy. I THINK his name was Jason, but I cannot be sure. When he started telling me they did not have to send me anything, I asked to speak with a supervisor. He told me I have 1 of 2 choices, go to the voice mail, or call back when the supervisor is available. I asked, "Okay, when will he be available?" He got mad and told me he had no idea.

So, I asked, well, you gave me 2 choices, right? If my second choice is call back when he is available, tell me when he will be available."

He would not tell me his name either, then he hung up on me. I was polite. I was professional. I do NOT think I am asking for ANYthing out of line. I have seen ZERO paperwork on my vehicle and I am evidently paying $10 a day in Interest. I want to know how the heck I can pay off a vehicle if I pay 373 a month and they charge me 300 in interest? That is NOT what I signed up for...

Ideas? Anyone suing this company? I want in.

Are they supposed to be sending me account statements? I live in Texas.
