They would take my BANK INFO... Now... And give me 10 days... Lol... As if anyone would give bank acount info over the phone to an unknown caller... OK some of us have.

I not only didn't give them the info, I pulled an old Southern custom on them... It's called "slopping suger ALL over them" it is a simple idea... ALL you have to do is be SO nice that they will try to "HELP" you... JUST ASK..."Can you help me with the creditor's name?" "Can you help me with the dates?" "Can you help me with the account #?" "Can you help me with the original amount" " Can you give me their phone number?" "Can you tell me where they are?"... THIS can go on for WEEKS... But only ask ONE question per call... And call OFTEN... THAT costs them $.
Act confused, so that you have to call back... A lot... Stupid confuses them...
NEVER give them as much as your phone#... They can call you for MUCH less than it costs them for YOU to call them.
NEVER verify ANYTHING... SS#, birthdate, Driver's license#... Etc. EVEN your address... Just say... I'll have to check that and call you back".
The LAST shot... That will end it all... Is to request a "validation report" of the debt. They MUST prove (by law) that you owe the debt... AND that they have the right to collect. But IF you have the time... Cost them time and $. Out of pocket... NEXT is names to ask for... Chris Lorenzo 1-877-298-0845, Ex. 1608... Sean Johnson, her boss, so they say... Have fun with them... I have the time and the bitterness to keep calling.
YOU can call, late at night when no one is there... The call still rings thru and costs them...:) leave a message about your account, if you have one, just no call-back #... Say that you will call again... And DO call again.

I must say, however, IF you are in debt, try to get out with honor. IF you DO owe $ attempt to pay it, or a part of it, as much as you can... Debts paid make you feel So CLEAN... It is a wonderful feeling, knowing that you are finished, you did it right, and there is NO ONE who can pull the CAMCO crap on you EVER again. THAT would be the Mother in me... NOT the bitter, vengeful, wraith out to stop CAMCO.
