Citibank has been soliciting my business for about a year now. I sent back one of their offers, and was issued a credit card in July this year.in August, when I tried to pay my balance online, their Web site would not allow it. Their site would not allow a payment of even one (1) dollar — I tried this and it failed. I ended up being forced to pay over the phone to avoid a late fee and interest rate boost. After all of this, they closed my account, despite its zero balance, and my diligent efforts that resulted in an on-time payment. Citibank sucks; I no longer care whether they issue me another card or reopen my account. This is too outrageous for words.
