Allied Interstate collects illegally. First they call and harass me with a matter I was already taking care of with AT&T. Then they tell me these lies, and when I tell them I am not cooperating with them and am taking care of it on my own, the person gets very ignorant with me. Unfortunately the CS rep at AT&T said they couldn't except my last payment (even though they had just sent a bill) and that I had to go through Allied.
When I call to make payment they wanted the whole balance. Not having it all I said I could only pay a portion. I was told that if the rest was not received by a certain date, it would go on my credit report. I was also told that I would receive a letter confiming this. Well never got a letter, then 2 wks ago they tapped into my account without my authorization. I got charged by the bank b/c the funds weren't in there. So I call the bank to explain the situation and not let Allied try it again. Well too late the bank told me they already went in and got it.
They tapped into my account again without authorization. I call them and no one can explain, then I get no call back. Then I'm told "you got a letter. And your just calling now?" There was no letter and no permission for them to go into my account. And I received no notice that they were even paid. You know why because they didn't want me to know. Because it was illegal.
