I received a letter from Allied Interstate in the mail dated 9/2/04 for a cell phone bill that I thought I was working with Verizon on paying. I didn't get any notification that it was going to collections until i got the letter.
I called Allied Interstate to get more information on the company - payment options and why my balance had increased almost $100 in 1 month. Stephanie (the person who answered my call) was so rude. Her tone of voice made me feel like she thought she was talking to a child. I ask to speak to someone else that would talk to me with a little more respect and she hung up on me. How does this company expect to get paid if their reps won't talk to the clients when they call in. I'll contact my attorney and let him make the call — see how they respond to that.
