Bank Calumet - Mortgage Advisors ripoff claimed they had no vested interest in mortgage advisors and coerced me to place my mortgage through them

I began doing business with Chicago Heights National Bank in the early 1990's.By the mid 1990's they had claimed to have sold the bank to Bank Calumet of Indiana. The Banker I was dealing with was attempting to help me grow my company.

When the bank changed hands he was let go. A new banker came in and it was like starting over from scratch. Just as we began to understand each others ways of doing bussiness and building a mutual trust, he quit.

In came the next new guy. He did not like the way the other guy had me set up and decided to redo everything his way including my using Mortgage Advisors inc. Which he swore up and down was not at all affiliated with the bank in anyway. When I began the process the mortgage. The loan specialist that worked in the basement of the bank told me I had a - credit and that he could get me a 30 year fixed rate loan for 8.5% if the bank would subordinate my business notes, which was ok, though I had another broker that said he could do the same loan for 7.5% if my banker would do the same for him.

My banker said no. He said I had to use Mortgage Advisors, he claimed what he was doing was special and he could get in troubled if he did it for any other lender. I did not believe him but I decided not to rock the boat. This banker helped me to land Bank Calumet as a client too. A business relationship I had attemped to create for years.

Things were going well, then he left. Business was good, and my plan was to create a relationship through the people I was doing business with at the bank. Suddenly a few deals fell through, and I needed to have more funds. Choosing not to meet the new banker when business was good was my biggest mistake. Now I had to sell myself upside down, and that is impossible. The new guy went to his boss who is the biggest jerk in the world, and life has been hell ever since.

I hired legal assistance to defend me, though they keep telling me without other people that have had similar dealings with them this is very costly and up hill. Please Help!
