I received a very disturbing e-mail stating that I apparently had a payday loan that I hadn't paid back.in the amount of $350. I have never taken a payday loan.
The e-mail stated that ACS was ready to sue me & that I was in violation banking regulations, check fraud, etc... I e-mailed them back & told them that I have never had a payday loan before. They, of course, they said that I did & that they had my IP address & social security number.
This whole thing is just crazy. The first e-mail that I received from ACS had about 40 other e-mail addresses attached to it. I think they bought e-mails & personal info., sent crappy e-mails to a lot of people just hoping that someone would freak-out & pay them.
I am seriously thinking about contacting the FBI on this matter. They are the ones doing fraudulent activities & deceptive business practices.
I also kept & printed every e-mail they sent me. I hope this helps anyone / everyone. Time to stop the scammers.
