UNFCU has the worst customer service amongst financial services I have engaged with including Bank of America, Citi, HSBC and Capital One.
Here is an example of my latest condescending interaction with a representative. I had an attempted unauthorized charge to my account by a merchant. It was a systems error on the part of the merchant and so it caught me totally by surprise. I thought my information had been comprised and that there was illegal access to my account. When I called UNFCU to inquire about the ghost overdraft fees, the representative asked me where I expected the money to come from to pay for the overdrawing transaction.
