Did not post payments, lost payment, charge late charges when not late, forclosure when i have never missed or been late like thousands of others on this site. West Palm Beach Florida

I initiated the refinance loan in August. The loan was with New Century Mortgage. Within 2 minutes after signing OCCWENS address was given to me for payment information.

In June my company changed the pay date times of the month. Since my money came to me on the 20th of the month I called OCWEN and asked them to change the due date from the first to the 20th of the month. They were very rude to me and told me not only no but "hell no your loan is one payment delinquent in late fees since you always pay late and if we receive your payment one day past the 16th of the month you will be charged $85.00 and some odd cents for a late fee. From that day forth I added the $85.00 and some odd cents on to my payment check and took it to the post office and overnighted it to them so that i knew exactly when and what time OCCWEN received each payment and who from OCCWEN signed to take it out of the post office box. The late charge was on the check and the check was there on time to be protected by the late payment each month and still OCWEN chose to add additional late charges.

In October OCWEN chose to conveniently loose my remittance check. They did not notify me. I called them in November to ask why my check had not cleared the bank. "They were again very rude and told me that if I had mailed a check then they could have cashed and posted it."

I went in to Salem and hired an attorney. He is a realestate attorney. I gave him all of the receipts from the post office and a list of the daates, times and signatures from the post office. He asked me to get cancelled checks so I did. When he finally got ahold of OCWEN they would not talk to him until they had a release from me, so I quickly gave that. Then they just would not answer their phones or talk to him at all.in April they sent my check back and started forclosure proceedings. When the attorney finally did make contact OCWEN told him that the March payment was received as an empty envelope. That is BS.

I wrote a long letter to both of my US Senators and my US congressman. They all three immediately contacted the office of thrift supervision who they said oversees the operation of OCWEN. Last week they each received a letter from a Mr. Thomas A. Barnes, Regional Deputy Director of the OTS in Washington DC. Mr. Barnes sent these legislators a two page letter full of lies that OCWEN had prepared and sent to him to forward to the legislators in answer to my inquiry. The whole 2 pages was lies and BS.

One very interesting thing that Mr. Barnes was sure to mention was this BS and I quote "Based on the information presented, we found no evidence that OCWEN acted improperly in connection with its servicing of Mr. Parkers loan." Interesting note: Mr. Barnes forwarded a copy of his letter to the Office of Congressional Affairs in Washington DC, and also a copy to Mr. Ronald M. Faris, President OCWEN FEDERAL BANK. Now! If Mr. Barnes is not in bed with OCWEN management, then why did he cc Mr. Faris president of Ocwen and why without any kind of an investigation did he state that OCWEN serviced my loan properly???

I sat right down and answered that letter paragraph by paragraph and placed it all back on Mr. Faris from Occwen and Mr. Barnes from OTS. At the end of answering the letter I asked all 3 of my legislators to perform an immediate investigation into the operations of the Office of Thrift Supervision and to expand that investigation into the finances of Mr. Thomas Barnes, Mr. Richard Denby, and all of the management in the Office of Thrift Supervision because they are obviously accepting money fro OCCWEN in the form of payoffs and must be living above the means of their Federal jobs.

I checked the auction company's web site last night and the sheriff sale of my property has been cancelled. It was scheduled for October 15 at the court house in Albany, Oregon. I don't know what that means, but this is my OCWEN consumer complaints and where I stand today.
