I jsut foud out that BBVA Compass Bank froze my checking account and then closed that account without giving me notice and without a rerason. When I called the bank. They declined to comment, they only said that my checking acocunt has been closed.
After 12 years of being a loyal customer, and with 12 years of ACH payments going through Compass Bank. I never had any issue with overdraft, my account never went negative.
I tried many times to talk to them, I called their main office in Alabama, but they never gave me any reason why the closed my good standing account. The only thing they told me was, according to the checking account agreement, page 22, that I signed with them 12 years ago, it says" We can close your account any time for any reason, or for no reason".
This is really an abusive behavior, I will never recommend BBVA Compass Bank to anyone.
